Measure Before You Ride for a Great Bike Fit

Getting and having the proper bike fit can reduce and or eliminate most common biking discomforts experienced by bike enthusiast and serious cyclists alike. Rent bikes in boston that fit your frame!

Saddle Height

Placing your heel on your pedal, rotate the pedals backward. You want your leg fully extended while maintaining your hips at level. The bottom of the pedal stroke with your heel touching the pedal should find your leg just barely locked out.

Frame Size

Based on your height, ideally you want to have the handlebars and saddle give you a 45 degree angel for max riding comfort. Bike rent Boston guide.

6`0″-6`3″183-191 cm58-59-60 cm

Pedal Type

Two most common types of pedals are clip-less (flat) or clip-in. Sometimes clip-less have front baskets that go over the tips of your shoes.

Most shops are pretty accommodating and if you ride clip-less (SPD) they will swap out the pedals for your cleats.
