Whitney Thayer Woods Biking

The mission of the Kinsale and Whitney Thayer Woods is to inspire and encourage people to embrace bicycling for fun and exercise. They work hard to achieve this goal by designing, building, and maintaining a 10 mile network of carriage roads and bike trails throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The 62-acre Turkey Hill is co-managed with the Towns of Cohasset and Hingham. Biking here is an activity that is best done when one is in the fresh air and actually enjoying the experience. Biking also provides a mental and physical challenge, which is necessary in order to enjoy it on trails like the Milliken Memorial path.

Cycling for a family can be as simple as starting the bicycle up with the kids in the front and all the adults behind. After you have ridden around a few times with the kids you can slowly increase the number of adults and children you will share the experience with. With Wampatuck State Park right next store you will have plenty f trails to explore together.
